Random thought #7364648

Based on something somebody said to livemeat If there was a movie of my life made then it would be a Tragical Comedy.

I would like Sandra Bullock to play me (and I won't insist that she gain weight for the role). And if soemone wants to play around with my life events to write in a clandestine affair with Kate Winslet say, or Johnny Depp I could live with that.

Oh and Gwyneth Paltrow is not allowed anywhere near it unless they kill her off in some big way in the story.

Edited to add: Feel free to add on how you visualise your own movie and who you'd want to play you.

if you get kate winslet or johnny depp, well I'd better get to be in the movie too so I can flirt with the actors off camera ... :P

i suppose if you're having Sandra Bullock playing you - you might as well go all the way and have a Celine Dion soundtrack;)

A pox on all thier houses
I like Sandra Bullock who despite having an unfortunate name is cute and quirky and funny and needs a chance to expand beyond romantic comedy. ;)

A Celine Dion soundtrack will have no place in the movie about me unless they decide they need a reason to drive my character in the film to suicide.

Re: A pox on all their houses
i don't, i think she only appears in films as eye candy,
and she couldn't act if presented with a leading role in an RSC production.

i have yet to see her play anything more complex than 'blonde woman'
which, lets face it - is something anyone can do if they haven't had coffee. Or tea.

Interestingly, the last Bullock film i watched was '28 days' with the whole detox thing, and it was vaguely amusing, at the drive in on top of a hill in Jo'burg:- the following film was called 'Bats' and was an animal flick on the 'hostile beasts' type genre.
It went straight to video, but redeemed itself in the final sequence.
{blink then and you've just been cheated out of two hours}

you'd be much better off with Gyllenhall {who really is quirky and cute - i have seen proof}

Oooh yes, Gyllenhall is indeed quirky and cute... I forgot about her.

oh yeah, forgot this bit
Picture if you will, perhaps a prequel to 'Manhunter' with a smattering of LOTR-esque traipsing through inhospitable terrains,
a few nazi brainwashing madscientists, secret double agents,
a touch of 'Blow', a little 'AI', and maybe a slice from 'The Wall' and
some 'Spinal Tap'

Or 'Trainspotting'
and such...

Re: oh yeah, forgot this bit
AI - ten word synopsis - boy discovers he's actually a robot. and stuff. etc etc.

nazi scientists - just think of the doctor from 'Brazil'

Blow - Johnny Depp gets stitched up over drugs. by the dea and his mates

The Wall - Pink Floyd film - bloke goes insane. rather brutally.

Manhunter - Read 'red dragon' by Thomas Harris

Spinal Tap - spoof rockumentary.

Trainspotting - heroin addicts in glasgow and their misadventures
