In Time For Easter

Having caught our son decapitating tulips in the garden and overwatering the sunflowers, Z and I commence lecturing him at length about the fact that he has ruined the plants, and that can't be fixed, they're dead now and it is over.

"Don't worry," says he, "when Jesus come, all will rise again."

It makes a change from his previous catechism, in which "some people are girls and some people are boys, because that's how Bob the Builder made them."

The Book of Matei would make interesting reading!

Bob is popular in our house too, but I have never heard that he has those powers. Hmmm. Actually, whenever Bob is on, Michal and I speculate wildly about how far his relationship with Wendy has gone whilst Joey squirms and tells us that Bob isn't Wendy's boyfriend and he wouldn't kiss her because Wendy is ugh, a girl.

Spectacular.

I suspect Matei's future may very well include a brief stint as a stand up/comedy writer; his sense of timing is impeccable.

Oh God, I laughed so hard! Where can I get a copy of the Gospel according to Matei?
