Small World

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Ah, small world really.
I'm almost certain I know one of this year's Big Brother Housemates from the so-called real life...

if it's the Mary I'm thinking of then she's a very good Tarot reader and we used to work in the same place.

crazy girl though.* I don't think she's going to do very well.

* but not nearly as nuts as she makes out

Edit: Would you ever want to take part in Big Brother?

And if so, what would be your Big Brother pitch? What would you do or say to get the producers of the show to notice you/select you?
Just for a laugh - how would you play it? What would be your strategy in the house?

you think you know her? oh my...she seemed a bit um...odd, I feel a bit sorry for her, I'm not sure how she'll find any common ground with the others in the house especially once she's told them she comes from atlantis.

she's hot when she's not doing the crazy eyes.

for my money, i think mary's a great actress and she was playing up on the crazy lady stuff to get picked.

but even so, i can't imagine her having too much in common with the chavsville they have selected this year.
Did you notice how many of the skanks come from Liverpool?

yes...appaulingly enough and they really display the scumminess that is Liverpool

I laughed at the girl who said she was at uni in Oxford and then Davina said it was Oxford Brookes...I think that one of the ones from Liverpool, the man in the Sari, is doing the same degree I've just finished, it sounded like the one at JMU not Liverpool uni...but I have no idea who the hell he is because he's younger than me and I try to avoid mixing too much with the rubbish of Liverpool!

i felt the same way.
i hate Liverpool from the bottom of my being. It was so full of ick. I think it's the only city I've been in where I didn't fancy any of the native inhabitants.

Hahahahaha, yes, me too.

I liked Kemal a lot, I want him to win.

I'll be surprised if Mary stays in longer than a couple of weeks and doesn't have a nervous breakdown.

yes...maybe it would be better for her to leave quickly or those idiots will make her actually crazy

well...my boyfriend is from Liverpool but in all fairness he's itching to leave and is moving back to Leeds with me sometime in the summer...Liverpool is horrible, it's full of slimy little dregs

It is, it is, and the accent is skanky. But somedays I kind of miss all the teenage mums, and all the people in the tracksuit, and all the particularly luridly coloured shoes in the Shuh Store

i hope she brought her tarot deck. at least it would give her something to do.

I would totally go on BB. I have no idea how I would get them to pull me out of the queue, but I would play up the fact that I'm American and I'm intelligent and I have strong opinions that I'm not afraid to express.

Once I was in the house I would be my usual self and most of all try to be genuine at every moment, which is more obvious to the viewers than being "nice" all the time or trying to be a bitch for the sake of it.

But I tend to like most people, so I don't think it would drive me up the wall. I would miss books.

I think my strategy for Big Brother would be exactly the same as my strategy in real life, lots of pseudointellectual flirting etc, and then eventually I'd evict myself to another country, across the sea.

I don't think I'd ever go on Big Brother, I like my privacy and I really like my family to keep their privacy...plus I have done some horrifically stupid things in my life and went to school with people who would exploit that to get money from tabloids...of course I'd probably go out in the first week because I'm not a people person...or I'd stay the whole thing because the public wanted to torture me wtih the idiots!
no...I think it would be utterly horrific

Would you ever want to take part in Big Brother?
Probably. I'm not very attractive naked though...I'd have to get fit first.

And if so, what would be your Big Brother pitch? What would you do or say to get the producers of the show to notice you/select you?
I'd be funny and bitchy and crude. Might be a bit motherly. Dammit, they wouldn't choose me anyway.

I'd be myself, anything else would be too difficult to keep up. I think I'd depend on the public vote, not the housemates liking me. I'd be a funny bitch, like Brian was. I'd try to leave as a popular comedian person, not try to stay til the end.

I loved the tranny this time. I hated the LOOK AT MY TITS girls, but then I haven't got impressive tits.

RIP Big Brother
What a wonderfully trashy survey! I always liked the big brother contestant who escaped. Everyone woke up one morning and he'd just GONE. I liked that. Did they ever find him?

Personally, I'd conduct my own eliminations and poison them all, one by one. And Big Brother would turn into this Agatha Christie mystery - "who's the murderer?".. as the bodies continued to drop like flies. And when it came down to three remaining people I would just stop killing - and people would forever wonder who really was....

the 'Big Brother Killer'

But seriously the funniest BB moment was on BB Canada when this guy took a load of LSD and had a crazy trip on air. So I'd definitely consider smuggling in some drugs and spiking their drinks.

I think Ben Elton already did that. Fictionally, at least.

To be fair, that would be hard.
Although I only saw about 5 minutes of it.

Wow, you know THAT one? I didn't think she will be doing well either. Though I thought perhaps the nuttyness could be put on for the show.

I would never take part in Big Brother, but watching the other housemates I sometimes think bloody hell they need somebody NICE in there. My pitch would be to discredit everyone who says "I'm maaaad" or "I'm really interesting" (don't just say it, prove it!) by getting other people's opinions of me. I would have a note from my mum and all. If I got in I would deface the property then escape.

hmmmm... and they call this reality tv?

I watched about 30 seconds of one of them going in, and after watching that, and reading the above link, I must conclude that it looks more like a freak show than anything remotely real.

If alien lifeforms on their way to Earth have the misfortune to catch channel 4, they will almost certainly do a handbrake turn in their flying saucer in search of somewhere more real.
Which is a shame, because little green men would fit right in on BB.

Would I want to go on BB? I'd rather eat my left foot.

it might work in her favour, people always like the interesting ones adn the housemates seemed quite keen on her formwhat i saw the other night.

cool that you know her!

I don't know if i'd ever go on BB, i think i'd be too scared to it would mess with my head too much. if i did i think i'd play on the motherly advice listening type nature and hope it mean tthat the housemates liked me enough tonot put me up for the vote often - but it's always the bitchy interesting ones that get to stay in becasue they get better ratings adn make it more interestng.

i'm hoping that maxwell will win, i liked him on intro night
